It's due to the anesthesia and your blood loss. It can happen during and after a c-section. My DD was a C-section baby. When the body loses blood it becomes cold.

@mommiesaremagical14 Ohhh okay I hated it i was like wtf is wrong with mee!! 😂😂 my daughter was emergency c-section as well but they knocked me out almost instantly after getting her out so I don't remember if I shook

Yea i remember everything with my son i remember just wanting to finally rest and barely being able to speak i was just shaking so much

Plus, the solution they give you through the IV is cold liquid, so it will give you shivers too

Happened to me too and got really nauseous

I shook bad after mine too!

Me also its a scary thing moma plus its ice cold in the room !

I've never had a csection but I've had that after every one of my deliveries and I didn't have any drugs
