So I think where my daughter bit me on the nipple is getting infected. Should I just pump and dump that milk? I really don't want her latching on an infected wound.

Why do you think its infected? Depends if it is and with what. You can pump, label and save the milk until you get seen. You should definitely rule that out though

@kambam I went to put her on it earlier and checked the bite before I did and it was oozing yellow. Plus it hurts really bad (like even my bra touching it hurts) and it is swollen.

@kambam My town is shut down for the eclipse because we are in totality. I would have to go to the ER.

Really? Can you call a lactation specialist at least? I wouldnt go to ER for that. Pump and save the milk and soak your nipple in warm salt water for a few minutes after and air dry
