I know to check with my sons dr and I will but I wanna know what u mammas think..
My son has acid reflux and will eat up to 8oz but spit up 1-1.5oz EVERY TIME!! My supply has gone down. Plus my pump went to shit so I was strictly nursing for 3 days...
My question is..can I add 1tsp cereal (I think is what I saw) to 4oz of breast milk? Thinking that if it has some weight to it it may stay down better or if nothing else make him fuller for longer?
He's 2months on the 14th and weighs 13.1 lb at his visit and had only gained 2lb in a month. Im going back to work soon and only get 2 pump breaks so I'm kinda desperate and don't wanna go to formula if I don't have to.

@ecahanes, I thought that too but my dr didn't say anything. I try and keep it to 5oz but when I nurse him idk how much he's getting 🤷🏼♀️

Ya I think it's over feeding. Two pounds in a month is pretty average. 8 oz is a lot for his tummy if he's fussy after he might have a tummy ache or just wanna suck
@ilovemychildren, it happens even when we give him 4oz doesn't matter how much they thought he had pryloric stanosis (sp?) but that was negative
I would just decrease his feedings from 8oz to 7 if he's consistently throwing up a little each time means you're over feeding him
I would try smaller meals more frequently first !! Putting anything in a bottle can be a choking hazard !! On top of that I wouldn't do any solids for the first 6 months unless prescribed from a dr !
