I'm really freaked out about the epidural. Im scared it's gonna hurt. Any mommas wanna give me some tips?
@erica_w14 natural birth is amazing. I loved the feeling of actually giving birth. For 1 I could actually feel the contractions and I knew when it was time to push. 2nd I was able to experience the ring of fire and know that baby was almost out. 3rd I was up and walking around within 30 to 45 minutes of having baby. With my first the nurses wanted me to stay in bed and call them if I needed to get up since I had an epidural.
See, I'm the opposite. I'd rather go through natural childbirth than get the epidural...I also have a thing about needles. Lol.
I'm gonna try to go natural, if I can't handle then epidural will happen lol. And this is my first baby as well and I just turned 21. You'll be fine momma I know a 14/15 year old that is about to pop. You got this girl
I'm terrified as well but the way I see it is I'd rather be in that pain once for the epidural rather than every single contraction
I've had a few people tell me it's not as bad as it look and it doesn't really hurt.
@jasminecotton5 I was wondering how it felt to have a natural birth. I plan to 😃
@keonataylor I've seen some epidural videos on YouTube. That might help you decide 😃 it completely put me off of it...actually I'm completely off C-section as well (unless it's totally necessary)...I kid you not, for a whole 2-3 days I was kinda like "um...nope, none of this is for me!" Lol
I personally don't plan to have an epidural. I've got Scoliosis and I don't trust anything near my back!
You won't feel it mama! I didn't! It helped a ton with the pain of contractions though and you'll be able to get some rest.
Well the epidural you want feel no pain but one I had my youngest daughter I went natural I mean don't get me wrong i was scared but once push it just feels like you got a bowl movement but that's it
@jasminecotton5, so should I try going natural or no? I have a good pain tolerance but I don't know what this pain is gonna be like.
I had the epidural with my oldest daughter you just got to stay real still it feels like a bee sting When you get you feel better you want feel anything my youngest daughter i went natural with my little boy which I'm pregnant with I'm going natural
@sjgraham1922 That makes me want to have a natural birth even more 😃 I suppose it depends on the pain tolerance of someone, with the whole needing an epidural thing.
