As a mother, I want to teach my daughter that everyone is different. Whether it's the color of their skin, race, or disabilities, they are still people and deserve to be treated with respect. In a world full of hate, I want her to grow up as a sweet little girl who stands up for others.
With that being said, I was offered a great opportunity to work with a children's book company. The company is focusing on the awareness of children with disabilities. Before you to start judging the first book, I want to tell you it's not just another boring awareness book. It's so much more.
Please take the time to check out the book in the link below and donate to help this wonderful book launch. So the new generation, as well as, their parents learn more about accepting people for who they are rather than if they have a disabilities or not. Still not convinced? Then how about this if you donate just $35, you can name a pebble after your child, sponsors, grandparents, etc. How cool is that? It's the best, especially for little kids. They will love to have a book with their names involved in the book.
Share with your friends and family so they can spread this wonderful project around too.
