Oh man. I wish my mom would even communicate, she hasn't said anything since I told her. It's been about a week. I understand your frustration though ; she can be a grandma and spoil that baby rotten :)

@epic.726 that she regrets not spending every moment she could have with me and that she knows she wasn't the best mom. She sees my daughter as a second chance to parent. I told her that no, this is MY turn to parent MY daughter but i want her to be the grandma

@twinpeanut, I have come to the conclusion that they project their fears and what they have done wrong in the past (in their lives ) on to our current situation. I'm hoping she comes around again but who knows..

My mom isn't talking to me either. This will be my 2nd pregnancy and Mama doesn't doesn't talk to me. She did it with my son who's almost 2... she made me feel like trash ... I'm sorry your going through it .... I know I cry a lot over it bc me and her are super tight.

Don't let ANYONE do that to you. My exes family tried to change my whole wedding. I stuck to my guns except one thing but I refused to let it drag me down. Or their behavior at that time. It's YOUR wedding. YOUR time to be happy! Do as you wish and tell her to respect you and stop dragging you down. Please be happy and enjoy this time!
