This is not a product placement post. What I like about this picture is the symbolism and the reality that is displayed in this frame. I like the word "American" on a machine that takes flight and the admiration these little boys have for it. The events afflicting us today as an American society are very real, hurtful and disheartening. But as I stare at this picture of my son's- my "American" sons, I am reminded that the only way to be a true American is to love, forgive, change, grow, and to never give up on our constitutional vows of freedom and equality for all. I will not teach my children to fight for something that is rightfully theirs. America is theirs, yours and ours! Let's continue to nurture our country by raising great Americans so their voices become louder than the voices that want to hate. Love will always win. Never lose sight of that. Cy, Bowie, Zen and all of your children depend on us teaching them that. God bless America!
