I took my boys to the doctor and the ped said Justice still has an upper respiratory infection, has now developed a double ear infection and still has a sore red throat. Silas still has an upper respiratory infection, has now developed strept throat, and has a worse red throat than Justice and no ear infections. So they both go back on a different antibiotic (Silas had an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin they were prescribed Sunday). They go back in 2 weeks, so all this developed since Sunday when we took them to urgent care and Silas skin is now changing colors from eczema on his under his eyes and on his lips and his skin has already changed on his legs, arms, and neck. It's always something! Next is a dental appointment for Silas 😡😡

@beebaby sadly yes 😩 and I can't afford to move out at this point and me and my husband are trying everything we can to get rid of the dogs but his mom is trying to fight us both on it. She doesn't care Silas is allergic to them she thinks giving them a bath is "enough" 🙄🙄😡😡

No wonder the poor babies are sick. That is awful. My MIL and FIL smoke and my MIL has cats which my son is allergic and get upset cuz we dont bring the kids around. My son has been hospitalized for his asthma. They have never stayed with them and my son is 6 years old. I dont play

@beebaby my hubby smokes but he's working on quitting and the only time the kids are exposed is before he showers after smoking cause it stays on his clothes he doesn't smoke inside. And most definitely once we move we won't be visiting cause of the dogs if they are still here. We have gotten in multiple arguments about the dogs and recently my hubby has been getting on her a lot harder now than before trying to fight her on it. I don't think he has asthma though...how does that work?

Both my kids have allergies just to the environment as well as cats and dogs and they have asthma. Cigarette smoke and animals are triggers for them. Unfortunately we had to get rid of our pets because the vents stirred the air, heat stirred the air, pet dander and saliva cause the reaction. You cant make your MIL remove the dogs, i mean it is her home. But he is gonna be sick constantly until he is removed. We bought a 600 dollar dyson for animals, bought vent covers, kept his bedroom closed and kept them in one room but he still had issues so we had to take them out of the home.

@beebaby I understand, so because he has these allergies he is at risk for asthma. And I have noticed he is constantly sick, it may not be full blown like it is now but he does has flare ups that last a few days. Our only option is to move and God forbid he gets hospitalized in order for her to realize

You dont want that. Trust me. My son being hospitalized is how we found out he was allergic, i felt horrible because he always had a runny nose and coughed and i never knew why and come to find out it was the house. He was in for 7 days.

@beebaby oh no poor baby! And that's kinda what happened to Silas he got sick in January was sick for 4 weeks straight he'd have a day or two break and then he was sick again and for the first week he had a fever of 104 that never broke, 3 ER visits and they did nothing! After that 4th week I said I'm getting him allergy tested and found out he's allergic to dogs and dust mites. I got Justice tested at 6 months but everything came back negative but I want to get him tested again when he's 1 since he's older and has had almost a year of exposure it would be more evident now.
