I guess it just depends on your body and your pregnancy and your doctor. My doctor started at 34 weeks and then every visit. It's super uncomfortable. You can always ask if it'll make you feel better!

@jazmineestrada0, I was kinda bummed out that they didn't check just cause I'm curious to know if I've dialated yet lol but then again I was kinda scared for it bc I was told it hurts a bit 🤦🏻‍♀️ so it's ok they didn't check

@karinecastrejon, ohh okay i see .. then that's probably why they didn't check me either! & yes it is really uncomfortable i got checked once when they thought i was probably in labor but i was like 34 weeks

I thought they'd check at mines today but my ob said they try to avoid checking unless they think that's there's chances of early labor. Cause it's such an uncomfortable test to have done. On our ends, I heard it hurts a bit 😣
