Okay so we don't have hurricanes in California. I took my daughter to the beach at 2 months just make sure you have shade for her and keep her hydrated. She may want to eat more cause it'll be hot so let her because that's how she'll stay hydrated. You can take her in the water just to feel it. Also baby wearing would be a great option if you have a carrier. Hats are also good lol. Enjoy your beach trip mama

My boy's pediatrician has 20yrs of experience. When he was one month old she told me summer is coming, no sun exposure! Also, the sun is too intense between 10am and 4pm. She says their skin is not ready yet and they can get dehydrated.

My doctor and all my mom friends have told me no direct sunlight until 6 months and no sunscreen the skin can't handle it. They haven't developed melanin yet. Could be very bad

@chibiytino ya thats true. Well she is bottle fed so im sure she'll be ok. Just bundle her up if its breezy. Ty for the info

I would just put sunscreen and always keep the baby away from bugs and the water lol ..hate how the sand would be all over my son and he will want to breast feed ..ugh it was a big mess -_-
