It's so frustrating when my son won't eat anything but baby snacks and boob ... I know they don't really need any " food " until 1, but he's almost 11 months and we've made no progress. He'll only eat puréed foods and he has 8 teeth , and sometimes not even that. He swats the spoon from my hand .

It's ok it's takes time as long as your giving him your boob that's the best for him. Your doing great. Some babies start late with eating solids and that's ok. ❤️😘

@blessed_mommy6, thank you so much mama, it's really frustrating because I feel bad that he's growing and I'm scared he may not be getting some of the necessary nutrients . But i keep trying everyday offering the solids .

I know hun but it's ok don't rush him he will eat solid foods when he is ready. That's what my dr told me for my kids 😍😘❤️

My son had trouble starting solids and I tried distractions, singing and clapping worked for a bit. Now he gets the iPad, I know it's a bad habit to build but hopefully we break it soon.

@alekismyworld, I've tried everything to distract him :( I've heard an iPad/phone helps a lot of mamas , I'm just trying my best to avoid that. But if he's over 1 yrs old and it comes down to that I might give in eventually

Yeah I understand, I am against that iPad stuff but my son was such a picky eater I didn't want him loosing too much weight so I didn't have a choice. But he only watches educational and it actually helped a lot. He knows his shapes and body parts and learns a lot from them.
