I did only because I have thyroid issues though.

@jodeciafranklin well my doctor wanted me to get tested because I told her my hair was falling out more than usual but that's the only symptom I have. Do you have a under or over active thyroid and what symptoms do you have? If you don't mind me asking.

I got tested for my tyroid with no prior issues. Good thing I did because I have hypothyroidism from being pregnant, which they explained is very common and should go away after I give birth. For now im on a low dose of thyroid meds.

@melissamichele05 do you have to keep taking thyroid meds after you give birth or no? Some people say once you start taking thyroid meds you have to take them the rest of your life.

@saraguinn23 I have hypothyroidism. I lose hair if I don't take my levothyroxine prescribed to me. I honestly don't know my symptoms other than that lol. I'm tired all the time but I also got some mental stuff on top of pregnancy.

@jodeciafranklin yeah hair falling out is my main symptom too plus I have like brain fog sometime but I never know if this is just normal pregnancy symptoms or what lol well thanks so much for your reply!! ☺

@saraguinn23 I was told most likely I won't but I do know some girls who still have to after having their baby.

I was extremely exhausted and sick and hair loss as well. After I started my meds I felt a lot better about 2 weeks in.
