It's a couple weeks late but I figured I'd tell my birth story:)

So originally the plan was the be induced on my due date, July 25th. At my hospital, they're extra about overweight mommy's so they didn't want me going too far past my due date.

I had my 40 week appointment on the 24th and at that appt I had asked to push it back a day so I could try going into labor on my own. So then my induction was set for the 26th.

Well the 25th rolls around and later in the afternoon I got a call saying they wouldn't be able to induce me so we pushed it back another day to the 27th at 7am.

At this point I was miserable because I'd been sick all day and I just wanted this baby out of me. I regretted ever pushing it back 😂

Well turns out I never ended up having to be induced. At 3 a.m. on the 27th I woke up to strong contractions about 3 to 4 minutes apart. I gave it about 45 minutes before I woke up my boyfriend telling him it was the real deal. So around 3:45 a.m we packed everything up and dropped my daughter off at Grandma's and headed to the hospital. When they checked me at the hospital I was about 4cm. I only made it till 7 a.m. before getting the epidural because I'm a wuss haha and then at 10:31 a.m. I gave birth to my little princess. So I was only in labor for about 7.5 hours which was a big change after being in labor for about 22 with my oldest daughter. She's our Lucky 7 baby 😂 born 7/27/2017 in rm 307 and she was 7 lbs even. And shortly after I had her my boyfriend got a call about an interview at a job we were really hoping he'd get :D
