My husband's friend and his wife just had a baby via c-section. I'm trying to think of a great gift for the new mom, something just for her that a not focused on baby.
Any ideas? Only thing I remember wanting was chocolate, and donuts, lol.

Bring a meal, (breakfast lunch or dinner). Do dishes, laundry, cleaning, watching baby so she can sleep.

@kambam my husband got me a spa package shortly after I had our son last year, and I wasn't able to use it until my son was 11 months old, lol. It's just hard to be away long enough when you're busy and breastfeeding.

@mumkipchumba @lugland I can't really do anything like that for her, we live 3 hours away and are just in town for the weekend for a funeral. I was just wanting to bring something thoughtful for her to the hospital.

The minute I was able to eat or drink anything my friend brought me a protein shake. It had banana, coffee, pb and chocolate. It was awesome!

A gift card might work as as well. To a restaurant that offers take out orders like outback or Olive garden. I know I wanted a plate of food so bad but couldn't stand long enough to cook.
