So my daughter started taking steps about 2 weeks before she turned 1. She would only take 4-6 steps by herself then dropped back down to crawl. She stopped trying all together, even with us helping her. Today she started going on her own & took 15 steps by herself !!! I was sooooo excited. She's getting better & she makes me so proud. When she first started taking steps, she would kind of run & lose balance quickly but now she's pacing herself & actually thinking about the next step so I think that's helping.
