Exactly! They don't get that! They think everything is fine because they don't see the struggle and frustration we go through on the daily. Like you said not just the kids, we are more than just moms. Any human being deserves a break once in a blue moon. My sister used to leave her kids with my mom growing up almost every weekend, my mom is no longer around but c'mon two years and not even an inch of help yet my daughter is her "world". IDK if it's the same with you but they think a little gift here and there for the kids makes it better.

And not just from kids. From everything period.
I use to get my nephew from my sister all the time to give her a break.

Oh my gosh, my family asks me at least once a week if I need a break so they can take sawyer. But I also have a huge family lol
