Ladies should I be on a schedule with Lincoln or just feed him on demand even if it's 45 minutes…

I was told no schedule for new borns in the class i went to for feeding them.

Her doctor told me to feed on demand! Sometimes it's every 45 minutes sometimes it's 3 hours! They feed more during growth spurts!

Yep I was told feed on demand too. It's exhausting. My son was constantly on my boob when I was breastfeeding. And by constant I mean CONSTANT. He'd fall asleep and I'd take him off and he'd wake up showing hunger cues again. Even when I switched to formula it was less constant but he was still hungry all the time lol

On demand for now.

On demand forever. Haha sounds exhausting but you can't ever give him too much boob. My doc told me I was wrong on his hunger cries and may be feeding him when he's not really hungry. Never did figure it out but he's healthy and happy 24/7 so I can't imagine I was doing it wrong. Later on when he's around 3 or 4 months you'll see a natural schedule happening or some moms schedule feedings and naps to a t. Whatever ends up working but for now I would definitely feed on demand
