I read this post earlier and made me wonder... is there a reason to take off your entire shirt to brestfeed? (No judgement here it is a serious question..) read a post about a woman taking off her whole shirt to breastfeed and others were destroying her in the comments(i dont know whats the point of that) and i thought maybe there is a reason (like some kinda way to express something about public breastfeeding)
*i didnt wanna ask why she would do it on the post directly because i didnt want people to answer me by insulting her some more*

I don't see a point besides comfort. Before I lost my supply is excuse myself to my room and take my shirt off.

@ashiducharme but in this case it was in a public place... well i guess some women dont mind... anyways. I find her brave (or completly crazy) to go take all this hate from people..

I think breastfeeding in public is simply feeding a baby.. taking your complete shirt off to breastfeed is attention seeking. It's like eating at a restaurant but since I wanna be comfortable open up my pants and zipper ( my point of view). I think it's not appropriate personally not the breastfeeding part but taking off her shirt is not needed. When we eat, we don't chop and we don't eat with our mouths wide open either. Its called exercising proper etiquettes. @eze.love maybe she's trying to make a point or simply doesn't care but I think it's not needed. I breast fed all of my three children but the last one I stopped early because of health issues after delivery.

Yeah taking your top off in public is way different.

I agree it's not necessary and I'm all for breastfeeding but seeing so much of another woman's body that I don't know, would make me uncomfortable
