I had it. They have to give you 2 rounds of antibiotics, 2-4 hours apart (I can't remember if it's 2 or 4hrs). I had a really bad experience with the second round. I guess the first shot had a numbing agent so I didn't feel it but the second one didn't and it burnt me and left a nasty bruise on my arm. The worst part was she knew it was going to burn me and didn't warn me at all. I was extremely upset and let the nurse know that shit wasn't cool.
I had group b strep I was scared but its not scary at all. It went just like my first birth except I needed 4 hours of antibiotics before baby came out which ended up being 2 hours of antibiotics.
