I love my boyfriend very much and one day i hope to have his last name as well my son. But I just have mixed feelings on should I give our daughter his last name. I've gone back a decade fourth. He just assumes that she'll have his last name. But "i" haven't decided yet. Is it up to me? Or both. I don't even know. I know legally it's my choice. But I don't know if that's right in this situation. I just don't want to unless we are married. But hell I'm having a kid with someone I'm not married. Which I have always said after my son. That I don't want anymore outside of marriage. I just know he's going to be disappointed and hurt.

My bf and I aren't married, I gave my daughter his last name. 1) Because if we do get married later on (and of right now I do plan on marrying him some day) I'd have to change her name and it's expensive to change name's. 2) I guess I feel it's just normal to give them his last name, I believe even if we had broken up before she was born that I still would have given her his last name.

- I changed my name to my mother maiden name, and that's the name my son and this baby will both have. So we match.. If you guys aren't married, or even engaged; then the decision is up to you mamma.
