A friend of mine said she would let her son play with a doll
(The way little girls have their dolls and calls it her "baby")
She feels like it would help men better understand how to take care of their own baby when he has one.
It'll teach him to be openly caring (a lot of men aren't or sometimes it's tough guy 24/7 on the outside)
She really gave me a different perspective🙇🏾♀️
(I personally still wouldn't buy my son a doll) but I loved where she was coming from and it made sense

My brother played dolls with me and watched Barbie movies with me. That didn't turn him gay at all. Being gay is a personal choice, not from innocently playing with toys.

Why tf does it matter if your child turns out gay!? It's your job to love them unconditionally. This mom was teaching her son compassion. More people should.

@mc.squared i wasn't saying anything bad about it. I was just pointing out that playing with toys doesn't make a person gay. That's all I was saying. A child doesn't even know what gay is until they're older to make that decision, which is their personal choice. A toy is a toy. Period. I wasn't saying anything bad about gay people though.

@proudmommyoftwo_, I don't think that will turn a child gay. You could raise a boy strictly boy (toy cars, footballs, play tools, etc) and they later in life could still have that sexual preference. I think sexual preference falls on the person themselves and who they are or choose to be same for girls as well.

@avahcruz Yeah true im just going off of what I seen from someone else not saying that every child is going to turn gay from playing dolls its just a possibility I wouldnt disown my child or make him feel no less of person if that's what he chooses.
