I don't want anymore but don't wanna make it permanent so we are doing the iud paragard with no hormones .

It lasts ten years as well only thing I've heard is it can cause heavier periods but I would rather take that then all the hormones!

i got the iud when i was 21 and took it out when i was 23 because my ex and i broke up and i figured i had no need for birth control. my periods were very regular before that. when i got with my now fiancé and we then decided to try for a baby i had a m/c the first time and for whatever reason the doctor said it had to do with the iud. and the same thing happened to my best friend. she took hers out and a month later found out she was pregnant and lost her first. it took a long 3 years later to finally get my little womb tenant. in my own opinion i wouldn't ever get the iud anymore. too many horror stories.

I just got the Liletta yesterday :) my little sister has had it for about a year and hasn't had any issues!
