Has anyone else gone Into labor with no support person? I had a great support team with my son,natural labor,although this time my children's father won't be here and my mother will be watching my son.plus I had a 3 hour labor and delivery last time so the Dr said it will be quicker this time which leaves me driving my son 3 cities away to grandma to fly myself to the hospital 5 cities away all in a short period. I'm starting to really freak out and stress myself daily about what the hell is going to happen if I go Into labor at 3 am or something 😓 and I can't afford nor find a volunteer doula any advice on doing this alone are greatly appreciated. I want to do it unmedicated again so any advice on how to stay calm etc. Thanks guys!

I didn't have a support person the first three times but this time I did and it made all the difference

Why doesn't your mom come to you?? that's a lot of stress to put on you cause once your in labor you can't stop it.... I would ask your mom to come to you.... so that at least helps a bit

If it is during the day i plan to but if it is in the middle of the night I'm nervous she may not hear the phone,she sleeps pretty hard. With my son my water broke at 245am my son was born at 611am

My first was 3 hours and my second was 5. It all depends. But I think your mom should just stay with you for a couple weeks if she is able. It would make it easier.
