I heard that some women get nausois on it since you feel high! I never have used it, but I was wondering what other moms have been through with it.

I am doing research on it n talked to my doctor about it. He say it's the safest for baby n mom. He said I can be mobile n can always change my mind n get epidural with no hassle. He say I could benefit from it bc I'm on my fourth child labor will more likely be quick but if I need an episiotomy I will need some numbing with n injection. But I should be fine. According to my birthing plan I want something invasive don't want to be bond to the bed this time

Is that a shot or iv meds??

@mommy2beaug12th it's a gas controlled by the mother with a set amount of oxygen n nitrous oxide

The time its in the body is 30 to 40 seconds it takes the edge off labor pain only. Let you be in control of the amount you take in n you should be able cope with the pain

Oh okay cause I refuse to take the epi cause I've been told back problems are cause by it so I need some ideas on what to get

@mommy2beaug12th I epidurals with all my kids n I didn't like the way it made baby slow after birth. They won't wake up right away n I took me long time to feel my legs n use the bathroom on my own smh so I'm doing something different this time

Every labor is different the contractions is bad for some n some not that bad. For me the more kids I have the contractions is not bad at all I just need to be able to walk n move around. Ok can talk during them just need to be mobile
