She had been screaming for no reason.... went down the list; changed diaper, burped, fed, snuggled... she wanted booby time.
We don't breastfeed for food, but we do it for comfort. Her cleft palate makes it so she can't get much out. Moments like this are special.
@birdystephens we will be using CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) for hers. We meet her team of doctors next month.
We met with some already, just to make sure she's doing well. The geneticist we've seen twice now. Also our pediatrician went to school with her (the geneticists) daughter and knew what Sticklers Syndrome is!
@mermaidmeshy That's when he had.his he only had one so far he has a dentist one when he's 6 maybe. We had an amazing doctor here in Kansas we went to children's mercy
@birdystephens he's so dang cute!
What age did he have his surgery? They say 1 year old for mine.
@birdystephens Olivia's is only the soft palate. Didn't go all the way up. Her dad was born with it as well. Comes with a syndrome they both have. But the Dr Brown's bottles are a lifesaver for her.
I'm guessing he's doing well!
Glad to know there are more kids out there that was born that way and not just my kids
