Hm I didn't think about that. I have a feeling its the type of sausage I used. I've never made gumbo before lol. @carrsonsmommy

Add some kind of carb or starch maybe like bread? I've never made gumbo but something that'll soak that up should help

Did you add it with rice? That's how gumbo is served over white rice. And dilute it with water or stock and it probably won't taste to bad. What all did you put in it? @rileysmomma16,

Add one potato. It might not be I. The recipe but it will save it and take out the salr

It was a box of gumbo mix and then a box of gumbo rice and I put in Cajun flavored sausage. @carrsonsmommy

I added some more water and it took out some of the saltyness but still WAY to salty. I've had gumbo once idk how they made it, but it didn't taste like this lol @carrsonsmommy
