Ladies, what does losing your mucus plug look like or feel like? Does it come all at once?
I would just call your doctor though . Cause first I called the hospital & they told me to stay at home but then I called my obgyn the next day & she told me to go to the hospital immediately to get checked cause she told me it wasn't normal to lose it at 31 weeks
@minnie_, I got crampy like 2 days after but I went to the hospital the day after I lost it & they checked me & my cervix was still closed & they said I still have a high chance of carrying full term & that they've seen a lot of girls lose it early & still carry full term .
Yes true .. this feels like contractions I'm just going to go into er right now because I don't wanna have another baby at 27 weeks ! Thank you all really , y'all have been really helpful ❤
Yes, but if you are concerned about cramping, drink water and make sure they aren't regular. Most of my cramping throughout pregnancy was not drinking enough water
@minnie_ I know a few people that let bits of their mucus plug from the end of the first trimester. I personally believe pregnancy is a magical thing and anything can happen.
So you don't go into labor right away right? @ashleea9898 did you get crampy?
Lol no! Are you serious .. did you get like crampy after losing it ? Ugh I'm freaking out now.
@minnie_ , for me, it came in little bits until like 40 weeks, then the chunks started getting bigger
And is it like a chunk ? Can it come in small snot for several days? Or it comes all at once? @torrey_love @thebombmom
Mine kept coming out from 37-41 weeks. The only way I can describe how it felt was snot between my legs... It was pretty gross
Mine came out little by little since 37 weeks until the day I had my baby. Also had a little bit of blood. I started having a little bit of it early in about 25 weeks. But the mucus reforms itself as in it creates more again. It's just discharge.
