Can I get y'alls opinion on this.. somebody on my Facebook posted this screenshot sayin she'd never in a million years do this to her baby's father and women that do are the scum of the earth.
I feel the same way. Why would you want to keep your child from his or her father just because he refuses to pay child support?. If he doesn't have money oh well that's her fault as a woman for sleeping with someone who couldnt financially support her and a child. That's doesn't mean he still can't form a relationship with his child. Bitter women are crazy AF!
My situation is going to end up being like that and my baby daddy is more than capable of providing for our baby. He just doesn't want to pay for it.
Don't get me wrong @shay2beautiful, I will never purposely keep my baby from him but if he isn't helping provide then I'll do what I have to
I'm not in the situation but I'd want my kid to know i did everything i could to let her have a relationship with her dad regardless of how much he helped to support her, at the end of the day were only hurting your children
I get that too but at the same time with my situation he says he wants nothing to do with me or the baby hell he doesn't even think I'm actually pregnant but I'll be damned if he doesn't help because it took two to make this baby.
Well in that situation it's different cuz he's not asking for the baby so if he doesn't you're not keeping your child from seeing his dad he's keeping himself away
@p0790, i argued that point as well and she said I'm not trying hard enough because no father would ever do that to its baby.
Well if he's taking care of the child equally then I don't even see a need for child support... Of course it depends on if the man is a bad influence or if he's violent or not.

There is a huge difference between choosing to pay and cant pay. It did take 2 people to make this baby it should also take 2 people to raise this baby. While im stressed with the financial burden of caring for OUR child i also have to stress myself with fitting into your schedule when you cant even give me $5 dollars for some wipes to keep our child ass clean. If its gotten to this point then we will be in court.

Well that's different if he doesn't want to be apart of the babies life. After so many times of trying to get him involved if he keeps saying he doesn't want to be them I wouldn't bother with him.
I think she has a point. Unless there is something very wrong with one of the parents then both should be involved in raising it and if they have gotten their rights to see their child taken away then everything should be severed. A person should not have to pay for a child they are not allowed to raise.
It all depends on the man and his character as a person. My ex husband... divorced 7yrs... i allowed visitation when we first got divorced but he wasnt consistent that doesnt help the child at all. And he kept saying he would help but didnt. I even let him take my son for 2 weeks to a different state. But when i called he would hang up on me. I told him hope he enjoys his time cause this will be the last time he is with his son. So i told him he will have to set it up by the court. So just last year he called and said he want to see his son cause he has so much money he doesnt know what to do with it. I set up child support and haven't heard from him since. My son has his own phone that his dad is free to call. And my son leaves him messages and he doesnt answer. So for someone to say all women that do this is scum is odiotic cause it is vague every situation is different. And if you don't invest in something you dont really care about it. Even the bible says where a mans treasure is there will his heart be also. So if a man WONT pay child support when he can or at least buy things to help care for the child then no, he does not deserve to spend time with the child. Then to say that a woman is stupid for choosing to be with that man is wrong too cause we all know men lie and lead you to believe one thing when it is another. So not shame on that woman shame on the man for not being responsible. And im sorry but MY child is MY possession and my responsibility till they are 21. Its not financial gain its taking care of your responsibility.
My ex husband has been keeping me from having my supervised visits with my three older children since September of 2016. I literally haven't seen my oldest daughter and my son in almost a year. His reasoning is a bunch of bs thinking the kids don't need to see me. It makes me furious that I have to miss this time in their lives. People who try to keep children from their parents are fucking terrible. No matter what a child deserves to be able to see their parent. no matter how you feel about them that child loves that parent and you have no right to mess with that relationship.
@abigail.e.billings.95, it's not about whos right or whos wrong or whats right or what's wrong it's about the law. in the state of Texas it doesn't matter if a parent (mother or father) have a court order for child support and aren't paying. If a court order is issued for visitation the child must visit that parent regardless of what the other parent or child thinks or if support is being paid. Visitation and child support are 2 totally different issues but so many people tie them together for some strange reason.
@txyogagirl, in the state of Illinois I'm pretty sure if you don't pay child support or visitation can get revoked or at least my moms did when she didn't pay.
