Yeah that's how my son was and after that I just stopped. He was around the same age. The week before he turned 3 I put big boy underwear on him and he was trained in 2 days. And it only took him a week not to wear diapers at night!

@korahleah_11 he wants to wear underwear he says he wants to sit on potty buut seems like more a game to him. Not being taking seriously and he will tell me when he's went but not before.

TBH. Boys are hard & 2 is honestly a young age for boys. They are know to potty train then retract. Which girls really don't. Has he shown any interest at all?
