Has anyone gotten the 10 year iud? How does it work When is it implanted How does it feel

OMG, there is one that lasts 10 years?! That's crazy.

Yes it's called the copper iud I'm thinking of either that one or the mirana for 5 years

My dr suggested that one to me

@mommysbabies, I've heard it's a good one but then idk I just want to get on a birth control that you don't have to worry about and that's going to last for a long time since my kids are going to be only a year and 2 months apart

Yeah she was trying to talk me out of tying my tubes but after everything im going through now and everything I went through with my son I'm done being the pregnant one someone else can have baby for me

@mommysbabies, I've been threw a lot with both my pregnancies and wanted to get my tubes tied but my obgyn told me I can't because I'm to young and my hormones will make me go crazy

Mirena is terrible. So is nexplanon. Just by experience, but everyone is different

I did the 5 year one and loved it!! For some people you don't even get a period at all. Best five years worry free and when I took it out got pregnant 6 months later 😊

@esther.ibarra85, does it make you gain a lot of weight though I'm already a big girl I think and I'm not trying to put on a lot more weight

- I had the ten year one.. never had any problems with it.. I got it when I was young, so my experience will be different than yours since you'll have had a baby.. I always recommend it to people! (: well worth the money!

- Oh, and I got pregnant around six months after taking it out ..

@ashleyandresadan, no it didn't me I bounced back and stayed at that size for 5 years - when I took it out I gained maybe 5 pounds. It's nothing like the shot I have seen many girls gain from that.

I had skyla, mirena little sister and I hated it. It hurt when they put it in and I cramped all the time. I got it back out after 3 months cuz I couldn't deal with it anymore.
