@lydia09876 I quit almost cold turkey with my son but I am having a really hard time and I have been smoking for 9 years (except while pregnant with him), can I ask has your dr said anything and is everything going good with your pregnancy? I mean I feel guilty taking my zoloft and my Dr told me to take it if I need it. And I need a cigarette

@dianne0825, my doc says nothing to me I tell her every time I go I smoke my sister smoked with all three of her kids my mom smoked with all us and we are all normal

I mean I may go into labor 2 weeks early and have a 6 pound baby but all is well so far

I quit cold turkey too. I've given in to cravings a couple of times, but it just depends on who I'm around. My doesn't smoke so I never think about it, but my mom (who is on again off again smoker) every time she has a pack I always ask for one. I can't help it. It's hard!!

@courtney.welsh my husband doesn't smoke but he said I'm not going to stop you from smoking but not like a carton a day. I just literally want 1 or 2 cigarettes

@dianne0825, honestly my doctor says if you can't quit, slow down. And one or two isn't the end of the world...

You're not alone I am struggling as well this is my first pregnancy I have smoked for 15 years when I found out I was pregnant I quit cold turkey and didn't smoke for 2 months and then stupidly pick them back up and am now already almost 34 weeks. My doctor does frequent ultrasounds to check on his growth so far he is measuring big and everything looks perfect THANK GOD. My husband smokes too, so it's even harder. I want to quit so bad but when I try to go without a cig , I get so anxious and mean.. 😔
