@lovelaugh9283, it is a genetic check that looks for for common congenital differences, like spina bifida and Down syndrome. It also tells you the gender of your baby

@lovelaugh9283, absolutely accurate. It took 6 days for me. They are able to separate your genetic code from the babies in your blood and they can tell the gender by seeing if there is male chromosomes or not. They told me gender was like 99.9% accurate. I got it done at 11 weeks, I'm not sure how early they are willing to do it

I had it done with my last pregnancy at like 13wks and I'm having it done on Monday possibly after my ultrasound. That is if baby is measuring 10wks. I don't know for sure how far along I am since I was on birth control up until last week.

@ash621, will health insurance cover the harmony prenatal testing or did you have to pay out of pocket?!

@happyhappyjoyjoy09, my insurance covered all the genetic testing, except the gender results. I paid $120 for the gender test
