Wait my sister in law lives in Florida and they actually drug tested her before she had baby and called dcyf because she tested positive for weed

@rose15, that happened wit me my first pregnancy but this pregnancy I found out late so I was smoking heavy all the way up to 22wks wen I found out then just sparingly until I was like 32 wks..my baby girl is completely healthy and growing fine..I just don't be feeling like smoking no more but I miss it

@mommysbabies, was she goin to dr appts smelling like weed or they suspected her of doin it..where in Florida? I was always curious if they did it..my dr office never said anything to me about it but I'm not worried!

It was actual hospital that made a big deal she lives in largo Florida they even checked on my nephew

She looked at them like are you serious because she wasn't keeping baby he was being adopted but it's kinda far she is near Tampa at least that's closest airport

When I told the hospital I had a medical marijuana card they called cps too and they came out and made a big deal of it. The hospital kept my baby for an extra 24 hours to watch her for "withdrawals"

If I would have known that was going to happen in a state where weed is legal both recreationally and medicinally then I wouldn't have volunteered this information to them. Its stupid. They wouldn't have tested me for anything if I hadn't have told them I was a patient.

How crazy... Its legal where i live... I always forget its not legal every where..

No they just said that they had to do a home check they didn't know until she said something about him being adopted

Yeah I smoke here and their but while I was pregnant I was to scared to,I didn't wanna harm my baby

@intelligentmind2015, yeah I understand !! I didn't wanna harm her either but every doctor appt I ask n make sure everything is 100% with her and they alway confirm that everything is perfect with her but it still doesn't make me wanna smoke anymore or less
