If your doctor gave you a note saying to take the day off then you need to show your boss that and take the day off. Doctors rules come before your boss for your own health assurance. Your boss will have to deal with it.

@courtneyraelochamy damn That's awful, I'm really sorry. If they fired you for that, that would be illegal on their part. One, they're firing a pregnant woman who had a doctors note. Jobs have to respect that. Im so sorry they're treating you that way.

@juliaschade41, you don't have to be sorry, it is illegal on their part and I am not afraid to call them out on it, however I feel bad for them so many people has quit I'm loyal to work. I will go off on them though if I tell them I can't handle it and need to go home.
