My husband has to have his gallbladder removed on the 10th and my mom wants to babysit Kai and sora over night at her house... I'm terrified.. I know she won't do anything to hurt them but I have attachment issues with them since they were taken from me at the hospital and went 45 minutes away to the NICU and I didn't see them again until 3 days later. I know she is trying to help us because yeah I'm gonna be gone for along time on the 10th with rick and they are going to get my father in law to spray our house while we are gone for fleas and everything else and they can't be in here and I appreciate her taking them for me. But my mom does things her way and I do things mine and her ways sometimes scares me. Like I do not put my babies in the bed next to me unless they are in their bouncers and that's only because I can't lay them down after feeding them for atleast an hour and my husband watches them. Now my mother takes sleeping meds and thinks cosleeping is ok (not that it's a bad thing its just not what I want for my children) and no matter how much I tell her I don't want them in her bed I believe she is going to do the opposite that I say. And when it comes to her BFs grandchildren being around my babies that's a huge HELL No I done told her they better not come around while they are there. They are bad and I mean BAD cussing, throwing shit (like knives), running around screaming like someone is killing them like omg. I just don't want them around my babies. I hope she listens to me and does what I ask her to do because I'd love to have her babysit every now and then so I can get some rest and get some time with my hubby. Ugh I'm a nervous wreck

I would just make it extremely clear of the rules you have for your babies and if she breaks them there would need to be consequences or she'll always just do what she wants.

I had my galbladder removed a month after i had my first baby. I had to stay overnight so my mom kept my baby. I was frightened and sad and anxious but it all turned out ok. If you trust your mom tell her how u feel and let her help you. He shouldnt have to stay over ight tho if theres no complications. Maybe you could check in or pick them up late after a much needed nap.

@damiensmommy1117 I have and she says she agrees with what I've said and that she will keep them in their bouncers, boppy pillows (only when she is watching), Or their playpin/bassinet she will be taking with her. If she messes up and does something against what I've said she won't be able to watch them until theu are way older.

@milky_mama2017 I don't even know if I'll be able to to that long without my babies 😣 Lord knows I need the sleep but I don't think I'll sleep knowing they aren't within my reach

@morganmommy79 yeah I'm hoping we get to come home the same day. It just sucks they are going to spray chemicals in our house to kill fleas And spiders and I don't want the babies in here until their stuff is washed and the house is completely aired out. But I don't know I might end up over their at 4am stalking their house trying to take my babies home lol

Yeah when my sil got hers taken out she was in the hospital fir about a week, i dont let my baby go no where it would cause too much stress on me not knowing

@twinmomma2b, i understand that. We had our house sprayed and they told me it was safe for the baby as long as she wasnt licking the wall where they sprayed. Lol but i was still a little skeptical. Get your hubby comfy and go love on the babies, check in, and then go home and go to bed. Lol

@morganmommy79 yeah it's not the safe stuff that the companies use it's some stuff my dad always used before he passed and it always worked you just can't be in your house for atleast 4-6hours and you have to open windows and air the house out for awhile after. I don't want them here if itll be in their air at all. But yeah I'm probably gonna go see them before I go to bed
