Maybe he's just used to you holding it for him.

Time do get off the bottle maybe? I suggest trying the soft time sippy cup in the brand of the bottle

@kkmamax2, he gets his sippy cup all day long. Only gets a bottle at night and first thing in the morning

Hmmm maybe just stop holding it all together. He will scream at first but once he realizes you aren't going to hold it, he'll be like alright I'll hold it
