Maternity shoot or newborn shoot? I kinda wanna do a maternity shoot but we don't have the money right now, and I'm super self conscious about my stretch marks and weight gain...on the other hand newborn shoot would make a cute holiday card. I'm stumped...

I didn't have a maternity shoot, but my sister in law should be able to help me with the newborn shoot.

Find a photographer that's still building their portfolio. They're often practicing and will do shoots for either free or stupid cheap...

@mc.squared we know of a great photographer. She did our wedding day and anniversary, great connection with us, great prices. Just can't afford it right now

Just an idea. Have her do one, and someone else more affordable do the other. Or have your husband take maternity pics of you.

Look on Pinterest for ideas. I'm a photographer, and there's lots of diys and tutorials...

I would take a camera or a phone since they take good pics now and have someone take some photos of u in a nice dress or something so u have them then if u want pay someone to do cute newborn photos
