Ok ladies I have a serious question to ask y'all. My friend is leaving a abusive relationship and we are helping her and her daughter get out. They both will be staying with me and my family. I'm worry about him finding her and trying to came here and get them. How do I keep them safe while my husband is on the road?

Get extra secure locks on all doors and windows, if you have side ways sliding windows or a sliding glass door you can put metal bars behind the side that slides so he can't open them, have a metal baseball bat at the very least, most people don't want to get hit with one so they back off. If she can get a restraining order that might help keep him away. Security lights for outside your house.

Taking in someone is taking in a risk to you and your family... It's not worth it... She needs your support, yes, but not your home where you all sleep 😢😢 there has to be a local place where she would be able to stay safe 🤔🤔

Safe houses/shelters can be dangerous though. You never know what kind of crazy is lurking there.

That is so sweet of you. You know when you help someone in need God will bless you too! And you have already invite them to stay? If he don't know about you and where you live then it should fine for a few days. But how are you planning on them coming over without him following?
And if she can afford it an hotel room in your name maybe in the next city. Make sure she uses cash only. Since cards can be traced.

Have her get an order of protection she will need it especially if it his kid because she can get in trouble for custodial interference otherwise

@xylianasmommy. @damiensmommy1117 @zachattackmomma @lana30319 @mommysbabies thank y'all for your advice. I have already invited them here. My husband is picking them up n his 18 wheeler. She has no money. We have been sending her money to eat and get her daughter formula cuz the man that is hitting her dosent get the baby anything. He doesn't no me or my husband. He has no clue that we are helping her.

Can she get one if it happened in Texas and she's coming to Arkansas?

@korahleah_11 then wouldn't that indicate somewhat where she is at? It will have the state of Arkansas on it.

Not necessarily! A restraining order honestly is the best thing for her because if he does find her he's breaking the law

I just remembered that in my neighborhood cop patrol every three to four hours a day plus I have a cop that sits across the street in the cemetery because I live across the street from Cemetery so he's there for about 20-30 minutes so if he were to somehow find her I know that if they heard us screaming or whatever they would stop and take him to jail
