I get so happy when my son moves around but I still have the pregnancy mindset after losing two babies at 5 months.... it wasn't due to any defect just a weak cervix....now that I'm a couple of days away from my 3rd trimester, I keep thinking the worst... I mean I still haven't told everyone I was pregnant (family included) I keep pushing it off.... at first I said I would tell them after 12 weeks... then after 16.... then after 20... now I'm 26 weeks and keep thinking "what if this happens" ughhhh and I keep telling my husband about my fears but he's so excited that he has his own mindset about the whole thing... he started telling people right after the pregnancy test came back positive... I just need words of support and ways to keep my mind from thinking negatively

Ive been like that this whole time. I bought a doppler to listen to her heartbeat any time i got worried. Sometimes i still do

@twinpeanut, I'm trying to keep a good vibe and I relax when I feel him move and I think the main reason I don't want to tell that many people is because I don't want to get to happy and then something happens...

When she's super cute and floppy like that it's usually trouble. So is me going down the stairs... She has been doing this for almost a year, but she runs in front of me and stops on the stair in front of me and then attacks me when I try to pass her and then jumps to the next stairs... ! Lol but since I've been pregnant she's been sooo lovey and follows me around. And sleeps on my chest and sides nearly every night! I try to give her extra love but she's feisty sometimes. I will keep that mind though, cause that would make me sad to think she feels replaced!

@danielleandco, thank you and yeah that's what it was... they didn't catch it with my first pregnancy and with my second my ob/gyn just ignored me when I told them about it ... now with this pregnancy I'm high risk and had to have my cerclage placed at 13 weeks in... when I went in at 20 for my anatomy ultrasound my cervix was closed tight.. so that's not a problem... and lil man is giving me strong kicks and reacts when someone presses on my stomach... all his organs and brain patterns are normal... I guess I'm just afraid of losing his after getting this far

@mitiacarolina3, oh mama I could understand the fear! My sister had a incompetent cervix they didn't catch. She went to the hospital because of heavy bleeding and low and behold she was dilated to 4cm. Strict bed rest for a whole week but couldn't stop her from continuing to dilate. So at 27 weeks she had an emergency c section and my niece was born 2lbs 4 oz 15 in long. Fast forward through the NICU til now she's a bright beautiful almost 2 year old 🙂 you and your rainbow baby are in my thoughts for sure !

@danielleandco, thank you so much for your words... I guess I have a fear of delivering pre term and have to remind myself about the cerclage and then I let my thoughts drift to stillbirth even through he's healthy
