Don't be, but I will warn you pitocin makes your contractions ten times worse. I managed to not get the epidural, but I balled my eyes out because I was in so much pain. You may be able to handle the pain, if not I recommend getting the epidural
@shecole some women get induced because they request it or the doctor found something. I was 40 weeks and 1 day when I was induced. I was willing to wait a week, but I think my doctor found something and didn't want to scare me so she scheduled me to be induced. I also requested to be induced because of fear of my daughter not having much room left
