Me and my husband haven't had a date with just me and him since I was 19 weeks pregnant with our daughter. We are long over due for one. Our realtor or should I say my daughter's adopted grandma and grandpa asked if they could take our daughter to the fair. We said yes and grandma Lisa is so excited she can't stop texting and calling us asking if she needs to buy a car seat or a stroller or diapers and wipes for her. She calls and texts me and my husband pretty much every day asking if her princess needs anything and how she's doing. We've never had anyone ask us if our daughter needs anything. Mine and my husband's family don't call and ask about her they don't show any interest in our daughter so having someone that's not even related to us excited to be her grandma is something a lot of people take for granted. When she asked if she could be our daughter's grandma we thought she was joking or just playing around but she wasn't. She shows our daughter off to her kids and co-workers. We literally go to her job just to hang out and so she can see our daughter. Makes me feel so blessed that my little girl can finally have grandparents that actually care about her. That actually want to hang out with her and just show her what it's like to have grandparents.
