What works best for you mom's, baby gates or cabinet locks. I know with locks Kynton can still open enough to put stuff in cabinets, but if I got baby gates not sure how I'd place them. Because I can block off the kitchen but then he still has access from one side. But we have extremely large doorways so we can't put the baby gates there. I need to know what to do, this is getting out of hand lol.

My husband found a baby gate online that extends, I think it goes up to twelve feet.. We have it in between our living room and kitchen it works great!

I got a really long/wide gate from chewy.com yes its a pet site but its the only place i could find a gate thats wide, tall, and has a locking gate

@kyntonsmommy the entry way i have it in is 7 feet with a gate in the middle and drilled into the wall

I got the Munchkin stick-on cabinet lock/latch thing. That and a scrunchy around the handles works. We also have super strong magnets on the tv stand doors that he can't open.

@nomaci I'll probably be getting locks to start with. Until we can afford that big of a gate or move. I already have to put rubber bands on his door knob so he can't lock himself in there, but with out cabinets I tried rubber bands and they aren't working. Plus we have 3 single door cabinets that can't be banded together. And I also need something to keep him out of the drawers too. It's easier to block off vs chase him around every 2 seconds when he is usually playing with the animals and his play room is on the other side of the wall and the kitchen is in his passing way.

Haha. Yeah, my son is just at the height to open drawers and clock himself in the head....we have to get more of these for the drawers. Our kitchen is set up weird so I can't block it off, which I do for the dining room. These are what we got. They work really well! Although he watches us open them and I can see his little mind working to figure it out himself.
