My 1 yr old isn't walking yet and refuses to stand on his own but I'll see him stand for a few seconds without thinking about it! He just turned 1 on the 12th and he's been standing since about 10-10 1/2 months! How long did it take for your LO to take the next step whether it be walking or standing? Also, anything I can do to help him?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

finally found him! My husband hasn't seen or spoken to his father since he was a kid. About 12 years ago he walked out.
Every time I have a contraction I stand up and walk. and omg, I walk slumped over 😂 that pain is not no joke. But they are about 10min apart 😢 not close at all. !!

All babies are different. Mine hated shoes. He wouldn't where them til nearly 6 months after he started walking good. He'll do it when he's ready

Babyies use their toes for balance. No shoes or only soft sole leather ones that they can use their toes for balance. It was 4-5 mos after standing to walking for my son, but my friend son took 3 months standing to walking since he started later also... Boys typically walk later. 12-15 months is not uncommon... He'll get there 😉 let him roam as he wishes. He'll get there, and once he's walking, trust me, you'll miss when he wasn't!!!!! 😂

I would try putting shoes on him off you don't. My daughter started walking with them a lot easier
