Who has the nonhormonal/copper IUD ? I had the hormonal 5 year IUD and gained weight like crazy and didn't have a sex drive. This caused a drift in my relationship and was wondering if the copper IUD would cause the same symptoms? I'm breastfeeding this next baby as well so a lot of birth controls aren't possible for me and I would forget the mini pill so it would be pointless for me. Anyways. Any one with experience with this birth control please comment or message me !

I had Paraguard and call it the Devil!! It's even worse!! I had cervical dysplasia ( cancer cells) because of it!! Didn't have a sex drive, sex was painful, emotions was all over the place and I had to have it surgically removed. All before I got pregnant with this baby. I wouldn't recommend any iud and I had the sister devil Mirena as well. I'm getting my tubes removed after this pregnancy.

@ninaberrygood15, I wish I could have my tubes tied but I only have two lo and I'm only 21 😞 idk what to get than

@namamaste, it's up to you honey. But I have a lot of friends who dealt with the devil!! I'm in a support group on Facebook it's a lot worse horror stories than mine. If I decide not to get them removed I would use just condoms.

I have the copper one &I I have the lack of sex drive &a weight gain. I'm going to get mine removed.
