So I gotta question. If I carry over my due date I have the right to ask to be induced right?

You can ask but every hospitals rules are different. My hospital wont allow my dr to induce until one week past due :/

Yes, I got induced at 40 weeks and 1 day. I asked because I literally felt like my daughter was running out of room and I was so exhausted and tired of being told to gain weight when i couldn't

@julybaby, I probably will ask my next appt in the 3rd of august. I refuse to carry over my due date, cause I'm so tired I feel like crap and my back hurts so freaking bad.

@charmed040309, hopefully I'll be able to, cause I had back problems before my pregnancy and now it's to the point where I don't even wanna get outta bed to do stuff. I refuse to carry over. I know it's selfish but I can't deal 😔

@victoriahernandez118 no I can completely understand. My pregnancy with my daughter was horrible. I'm handicapped and it didn't help that they wanted me to gain weight like I had a choice my weight gain or loss my daughter was so picky I barely ate and slept through my pregnancy

Yes. I got induced at 41 weeks

@charmed040309, oh wow that sounds Terrible, don't get me wrong I love creating life and I'd do it all over again it's just carrying over sounds like a nightmare to me. Everyone is fighting me on the fact that I want to be induced if I carry over, they say " it's wrong for me to do that to my body"

@julybaby, that would make me upset too it's our body you should have a say in what happens to you. And if you feel like you can't bare it anymore they should respect your wishes.

I feel your pain I don't want to go past my due date most women don't mind I want my baby out on or before my due date

@victoriahernandez118 would I have perferred her to come on her own yes, but my dilation wasn't changing. Oh I loved creating her, but when I was told they wouldn't induce me I did my ultrasound for 40 weeks so either they found something or she got tired of me asking
