I cannot imagine having a long labor! Mine was 5 hours which was too long if you ask me lol

I went to bed at 10:00pm no contractions at all..no back pains no nothing.

I woke up at 1:30am with contractions 10 minutes apart. Had baby by 6:00am

3 days in the hospital before I had mine. 3 days. But I was grateful to have 1 natural! 😏✨

@forever.torrey 😄😄😄 I had some amazing doulas, its really not as bad as it seems. I was already in pain the last trimester anyway.

@forever.torrey They are! I got very lucky and since I had twins a few local ones volunteered and took shifts. They were very sweet and told me about how black women can become doulas for cheap or free depending on where they are because our communities need them! So now I am a trained doula and I use the money I make selling belly binding wraps to donate more of them to women who need them. and I hope to eventually be a midwife who works for free or cheap. It is better to have a doula...MUCH better! The drs treat you way different, that's when I realized its important, and I am glad now I can be there for my little sisters 2nd child and other women who may need the help!

@tahtahme, omg ! Man. I plan to have a doula my next pregnancy and I'm glad that you told me that there are some that volunteer.

And our Communities DO NEED THEM

@forever.torrey. Yes, if you ask they can usually find one who is able to help in some way and also they usually have programs for you to pay based on income! It is a very good investment to make, you could even ask family and friends to donate towards the doula instead of for baby clothes!
