Since 4 months I've used a blanket that I bought her from rue 21 lol and she used to sleep with it up to her face which scared me but I learned to trust her. Babies are usually smart enough not to suffocate themselves but then again I have a camera so I could watch her. And then around 9 months I added I'm her boppy pillow to sleep on. But it's all up to what u want to do and what you can trust your baby with really

It's scary at first but you'll get used to what ever you decide to do momma (:

I use a sleep sack for my son. Usually rock him in a dark room til he starts lookin sleepy and then I just set him in his crib and he goes to sleep. I wouldn't recommend a blanket

He has one of those blankets with the stuffed animal attached. It's about a sqft. At 7 months, though, I'd still go in and take it out once he was asleep. I think after 6 months it's safer to let them have something so long as it isn't plush or bigger than their face.

One of his great grandmothers got him the taggies blanket. It's pretty small so I feel it's safe and has little things to chew on which he loves. That and his paci :) I'm with you that I am still not comfortable with a blanket at this stage
