When formula feeding, is it best to start with the ready to use for a couple weeks? We have some powder formula that my sister in law got on wic that her son couldn't have so she gave it to us. It's the brand I plan on using, but was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a small pack of the ready to use formula. With my first, the hospital provided it, but with my second they had a different brand and actually refused to give me the other brand until my daughter's tummy was rejecting it. I just wanna be prepared. Is it a good idea to have the ready to use before the powder? Or can we just jump straight to the powder?

Your baby's doctor should recommend a formula that best suits your baby. Not choose yourself every child is different. But with mine we got some from the hospital and used the ready to feed from there till we ran out then started powder.

the hospital gave me ready to use and i used all that first before i used powder

We chose both of our child's formula until my son was allergic to his. We used powder. I dont like the ready made bottles

It's no way to know until the baby comes and you give them the formula

@hayleybug333, well like I stated, the hospital provided one I didn't wanna use because of how expensive it was. Only my baby's tummy gets to tell me how much I can spend on formula, not the hospital. Lol.

yeah a can is like $27
