"Cry it out" method is NOT meant for a newborn. A baby does not come out the womb with the intentions or knowledge to "decieve" and cry for self gain. When a newborn cries they are crying because they NEED something. The "cry it out" method will leave your newborn feeling stressed, scared, and alone... Which can negatively impact brain development. Newborns need your love, comfort, your warmth, and your smell. Don't deprive them of that for anyone! How can a baby who was in the womb for so long come out and have no need for it's mother... It's impossible! Being held is a need! They are used to being so snuggled up in mommy! It's only the way nature intended for the child to want the same after birth ❣
