If you don't have a man willing to help pick you up while you're down, not just mentally, emotionally, or figuratively, but also financially, then kick him to the curb. Seriously. I've always done okay for myself and not had to ask for many loans or hand outs. But now I'm completely down on my luck, especially financially, and it's like pulling teeth to get my SO to spend money where needed. He has yet to buy anything for the baby, and his mother still buy things for our 3 yr old, and now my phone is shut off since I'm the only one in the house NOT on the family plan. My SO makes probably twice what his mother does.

I'm so irritated.
